As I sat at my laptop in the living room the other afternoon, my sister came to me and had told me that the teacher that had taught me in kindergarten had died of cancer. Just like that, out of the blue. Completely unexpected. The news saddened me, for my kindergarten teacher was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I also felt sad for her two daughters. One of them is my age. I cannot imagine their pain. I could never imagine going through life without my mom, dad or my sisters. When my sister shared the new with me, it had hit me like a brick wall, once again. Life is short. You never know when something will happen to yourself or to the ones you love the most. And it'll happen, right out of nowhere. Whenever I'm reminded of this, I always try to take chances in life, and live it to the fullest. So, if anyone out there is reading this, I dare you to take chances in your life. Do something spontaneous! Run a marathon. Ask the guy or girl you like out to a dinner or a movie. Ride the fastest, highest rollercoaster you can possibly find. Travel someplace exciting and live your life up. Keep your friends and famillies close to you, no matter what, and always let them know how much you care for them, love then, and that they're always on your mind. Because life is short. Live it to the fullest.
