Overall, the 5K Run For Water event was a great experience! I got to donate $20 to building of wells for Ethiopia, I took an opportunity to run 5K for a great cause with 1,000 other residents of the town, I just totally felt really astonished by how many people were out there today supporting Ethiopia and the building of wells there so that the people of that country can have a drink of water. And while supporting a great cause, we're all keeping in shape! The Run For Water was tons of fun, and I can most definitely be counted on to return to run for clean water in Ethiopia next year.

R.I.P "Lost" - The Best T.V Show Ever.
Dear Lost,
Thanks for the emotional, amazing, and unforgetable journey you have taken me on for 6 exciting years. I do not think I missed a single episode, for I would always be so anxious to see what would happen next. Even though some parts didn't make any sense at all (such as the death of Charlie Pace), and left me thinking "what the hell is going on?", you would always come around and please me at the end of each season. There were so many memorable moments, it would take me hours to type them all out. I laughed at Sawyer's funny nick-names. I cried when ever a memorable character died. I was angry at Ben for all of the horrible things he did to them (and for not stopping Widmore's people from killing his adopted daughter). I was happy when Jin and Sun had finally been reunited after three years of being apart. I cried with joy when the couples all remembered eachother in their alternative universes and the memories they had with one another on the island. I cried with sorrow when Jack died in the bamboo forest with Vincent the dog, the same place Jack woke up the day of the plane crash, the pilot of the first episode, of the first season of lost. Lost, you ended happily and I wouldn't have had the ending any other way. Sure all things must come to an end, and life goes on....but you will always remain, in my heart, the best t.v show I have ever watched...and no other t.v show can ever compare to you. Thanks again for everything. <3.

Life Is Short. Live It To The Fullest.
As I sat at my laptop in the living room the other afternoon, my sister came to me and had told me that the teacher that had taught me in kindergarten had died of cancer. Just like that, out of the blue. Completely unexpected. The news saddened me, for my kindergarten teacher was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I also felt sad for her two daughters. One of them is my age. I cannot imagine their pain. I could never imagine going through life without my mom, dad or my sisters. When my sister shared the new with me, it had hit me like a brick wall, once again. Life is short. You never know when something will happen to yourself or to the ones you love the most. And it'll happen, right out of nowhere. Whenever I'm reminded of this, I always try to take chances in life, and live it to the fullest. So, if anyone out there is reading this, I dare you to take chances in your life. Do something spontaneous! Run a marathon. Ask the guy or girl you like out to a dinner or a movie. Ride the fastest, highest rollercoaster you can possibly find. Travel someplace exciting and live your life up. Keep your friends and famillies close to you, no matter what, and always let them know how much you care for them, love then, and that they're always on your mind. Because life is short. Live it to the fullest.
