Christmas Break!

(L to R: Ashley and I @ a christmas party!) Christmas Break, school's out!

Woots! School is definitely out for the christmas season for TWO whole weeks! I'm so happy....no waking up early, ironing my uniform, and no homework! Just two whole weeks of relaxation (with the exception of work). I've got a lot of things planned for the break! On christmas day we're opening presents and having the family over for dinner. On new years eve Ashley and I are getting together and all night we'll be pulling pranks and doing a whole bunch of awesome stuff to make the most of what is left of 2009 and to celebrate the comming of 2010! Wow, can you believe it? Time sure flies. Last weekend I just went to a fun christmas party with Ashley and slept over at her house. We also exchanged gifts. I gave her an awesome necklace and Ashley gave me "Dodgeball" DVD, a scarf and a "New Moon" 2010 calendar. Well, this christmas break is certaintly going to be the greatest! I'm off now to get ready to go out to the movies with the family to see "A Christmas Carol"....the new one with Jim Carrey! Later everyone!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

(Ashley's 16th Birthday Party!) It's Snowing!

So as I peer out the window at this moment, I can take a gander at the first snowfall of the year in my town! Woots! I'm so happy that the snow is finally here! When there's snow there's usually, snowmen, snow angels, snow forts, snow ball fights and hot chocolate, baby! It's a Friday afternoon and I'm here, in school detention for arriving to class late today. Ah well. My friends are in here with me so it's all good ^_^. This weekend is going to be so much fun! First of all, my family an I are going out today for supper at a Chinese Restaurant. Yum! Tomorrow and Sunday I have to go to work at the egg farm, but thats alright because I still love my job. I also have to finish my christmas shopping this weekend. And on Saturday night my little sister is going to a sleep over party so my other sister and I are going to watch "Blades Of Glory" with some popcorn. Sounds like my kind of weekend :)! Last weekend was my best friend's birthday party. It was so much fun. Fire works, watching Austin Powers, and hanging out with my best friend and our other friends on her birthday were the major hilights of the night. Lunch is almost over and so is detention. See you all later! =D

Neopets? Just For Kiddies? Ha!

(me and my momma =P)
Mid-Semester..OhMeGarsh!

Holla, holla y'alls! It is currently the midst of semester one - after Halloween. Breathing space is getting pretty tight at the moment, so much studdying! But it's paying off big time...So if you're reading this and you're currently failing your classes, I say get your act together, and crack open the books you! Anyways...
Halloween was tons of fun, even though my family and I didn't exactly celebrate the spooky occasion. Ice-skating, and watching 'Cloverfield,' and 'Sweeney Todd,' with the fam was awesome-sauce.
So as you have read the title of this blogtastic post, you're probably thinking to yourself 'Ariel, what in all of the goodness of the world have you to do with Neopets? It's for babies!'....well, here's the story: my sister of five years younger than I started up with Neopets again. When she was playing on it, it brought back major memories of middle school....playing games, earning neopoints, playing with your pet, making guilds, meeting new people....it was rather tempting to sign back up on Neopets and relive the moments....and thus, I gave in to Mr. Temptation. But don't judge me folks - it's only a past time, not an obsession!
Going to my friend Shelby's 16th birthday party this weekend, should be lots of fun! Well, I'd better head off and finish my essay for the Scoials Studdies Fair....au revoir!

Aquatic Friends and Scary Zombies...Hello Autumn!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!

Wow....half-way through October. Gee the time sure does fly by fast! Before I know it I'll be in college...and then married...and then having kids, OH MY! But let's not get ahead of ourselves now, I'm only in grade eleven. This week is totally jammed pack with tons of exciting news to share, I just couldn't keep it all bottled to myself! First of all, my Biology 11 class is headed to the Vancouver Aquarium on Thursday, and I'm really excited because I haven't been to the Aquarium in years. It'll be fun, just chilling with my friends all day in Vancouver, checking out the cute little animals and exhibits and all that fun. Then, on Thursday after the aquarium, I'm going to go home and pack my bag because my friends and I are getting together later on that night for a sleepover and to go back into Vancouver to go to Fright Night at Playland!!! It's going to be so much fun! Fright Night is when the amusement park becomes Halloween themed and actors walk around the park dressed up in freaky costumes to go around and scare the visitors, and they put up lots of haunted houses. It's going to be a pretty scary time =D! Afterwards, we're all going to pull an all-nighter with candy and pop and all sorts of junk at one of the friend's houses. On the weekend, my family is all attending my cusion's wife's baby shower, which should be tons of fun. You know how at baby showers they make the mother-to-be wear a decorated hat? Well, she's going to make my cusion wear it xD LOL! And then after all the fun and excitement, it's back to good old school. I'm still doing exceedingly well with my classes, and I plan on keeping it that way. Hope you all reading this have a spooky Halloween! ^_^!

" It's Back To The Books!"

Hello There, Autumn. You're A Bit Chilly!

Goodbye summer, hello school. Again. Ah well; this year shall be a good year for me. Grades 11 and 12 are what really count for college and now that I'm in my 11th year of my school career I'm definitely going to buckle down and study real hard. Just as I have been these first four weeks of school. So far I've gotten all assignments into the teachers and A's on my tests and quizzes. Wahoo for me, right? =P. It shan't be too hard to keep up great work such as this through the whole year.

In my recent posts I have mentioned a guy that I thought I was totally crazy about. I do believe I have a chance with him, however I'm just going to leave us be as " good friends ". I'm not ready to commit myself to a relationship at the moment, with school studdies and my social life and all that jazz. Plus I just don't think he's the definite one for me. I know that someday I'll find the right guy to share my life with. Perhaps that mr. right will be at the college I have my heart set on attending. Just not now, and I'm completely fine with leaving it at that =D.

I just got back from an amazing, but busy weekend. Had a slumber party with my BFFL on Friday, and went off on an amazing Youth Retreat experience with my other good friend. The weekend was tons of fun...but now I've caught the flu bug! It's Wednesday and I still haven't gone back to school since the weekend. Keep me in your prayers,

This Is An S.O.S, Save Me From This Island Of Stress!

Who knew school could cause so much stress? My god, I feel like I'm going to get an ulcer or something. Math and Science are the MOST stressful.

I'm having a bit of a difficult time with math you see. There are just some things about it that I don't understand. Like on the tests, you have to round everything to a certain number, and never on the assignments. And who's ever going to use trigonometry or long algebra in real life cases? I mean, hello! I'm not planning on becomming an accountant or a scientist when I am older.

And science? Well, some parts of it just piss me off. Like how we just HAVE to have a quiz everyday on stuff we learnt a minute ago. I've been preparing for these exams for a while now. I'm not failing either one of the courses, but they just make me so stressed out and frusterated! I'm still having trouble with Chemistry! All of the balancing of equations and complicated formulas .... thank god my friend knows what she's doing when it comes to Chemistry so she's tutoring me on that unit.

Other than those two horrific subjects, I'm doing quite grand in English, Media Arts, P.E and Planning. And I haven't been able to take a breather yet - and the only time I'm going to be able to stop and catch my breath is when school is over and my exams are done with. Right now, I feel like going for a nice bike ride down the road ... or maybe I feel like lying in my bed and falling asleep while watching a " Harry Potter, " or " Lord Of The Rings," movie. Will the summer EVER get here? I need someone to save me from this deserted island called "Stress!" This is an S.O.S.

So Many Things To Accomplish Within Two Months!

Today after school, during the car ride home I started to think, now that school is almost out for the summer, what things do I wants to accomplish this summer?.... so I would like to share my list of things that I would like to accomplish this summer! First off, I want to accomplish having the BEST summer of all time! Secondly, I would like to try to spend a full week at my best friend's house ( we did this last summer - awesome memories, except for the horrid sun burn! XP ) and have as many sleepovers as I possibly can with my friends. Third, I would like to at least hang out with the guy I really really like two or three times or even more (maybe the mall, movies, a little fun competitve game of mini-golf ... :P). Next, I would really like to make mine and my best friend's last year attending summer camp the GREATEST week of summer camp ever ( although last year was totally awesome! ). At this moment as I am eating a Kool-Aid Banana Freezie I am thinking " My god, I'm so done with school and totally ready for summer!"

Long-Distance Friend, Lakeside Tanning and Weekend - Oh My!

What a great day! Not only did I have a fantastic, relaxing time tanning away at the Lake after school but a friend who I haven't talked to in about a year posted a message on my Facebook profile. So I decided to call her, she was so surprised! She was a really great friend to me in 8th grade but then she had to move to a big busy city an hour away from our little farm town. We were on the phone chatting for at least an hour and a half - about how Adam Lambert should've won, final exams, bringing the good memories back in mind from 8th grade, our summer plans and more. I hope to see her this summer before she goes back to Korea for the summer! Thank god it's the weekend! I've been working real hard, studying for final exams and just long tiring days in classes - not to mention the insanely 30 degree weather dosen't makes everything better, but I can't complain :P. I've got two days to rest up and to enjoy the summer sun! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, until next time

"It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood..."

Yet, another beautiful hot day has come and gone. It's fairly rainy and cold all winter and spring here in British Columbia, so once we all feel the hot rays of sun upon our backs we all try to take advantage of the outside as much as possible. I saw the musical "Les Miserables" the other day with my English Honors class and thought it was amazing! The singing and acting was rather phenominal. Although the hour ride in and out of Vancouver was rather hot it was all worth it! Don't you just hate it when you run out of things to talk about with your friends on a long bus drive? We were looking at the beautiful houses as the bus drove through the rich part of Vancouver and started to talk about what colour our house doors were ...... you know you're bored when..Lol! It got to about 30 degrees outide today, lovely! And I'm not being sarcastic either ^_^. If it is like this tomorrow I think I'll take a trip down to the lake ....... until then I'll leave you with a little song that is currently stuck in my head:

~The Campfire song song~

"Lets sit around the campfire,

And sing a camping song!

Our c-a-m-p-f-i-r-e-s-o-n-g song!

And if you don't think that we can sing it faster,

then you're wrong.

It'll help if you just sing alooooonnngggg.....

.....duum,duuuum,duuuuuuuuum!"

=D Cheers! Ariel
